below, free of charge except for the behaviour clinic.

Senior Clinics – held on Tuesdays with Miss Jenny Hickman VN
A general health check for the older animal: Jenny can discuss mobility problems and unwillingness to exercise,
feeding the senior animal and early detection of diseases, such as diabetes and kidney disease.

Behaviour Clinics – held on Wednesdays with Miss Carly Nairn VN
Our trained behaviour nurse can work with you to devise a plan of action to help with your animal’s behaviour.
Common problems often seen include, aggression, separation anxiety, destructive behaviour and socialisation
problems. You will need to complete a behaviour questionnaire prior to your appointment with Carly; please
contact the surgery for further details.

Dental Clinics – held on Thursdays with Miss Becky Calvert VN
Your pet’s teeth and gums should be checked at least every six months to prevent gum disease and tooth decay.
Becky will discuss all aspects of dental care with you, such as preventing plaque build-up and techniques
for brushing your pet’s teeth. Becky will check your pet’s mouth and send you home with a
personalised dental chart.

Weight Clinics – held on Fridays with Miss Sarah Close VN
If you feel your pet is carrying a little too much weight, or if one of our veterinary surgeons has advised a
weight loss program, then come and see Sarah. Sarah will arrange regular weigh-in sessions accompanied by
dietary advice, and you can also plot your pet’s success on his or her own weight chart.
